Written at a time when Brexit was the main cause of concern for this country, Mahad gives some real insight into what it was like creating this story, and what inspired him to write such a powerful and personal story.
My Brother’s Keeper explores the politics of immigration, religion and sexuality as a small British town tries to find its place at a time of great change in the world.

Episode 79 I Right Dishonourable Friend (Vault Festival 2023)

Heading to The Vault Festival from 14th - 18th February 2023, Enough Helen Productions brings 'Right Dishonourable Friend' to The Cage, a play that centres around Perdita, a newly appointed MP for the fictional Lancashire town of Ardenton, where she thinks that her wealth of social experience and the fact that she’s the former Home Secretary’s Daughter, are all the qualifications that she needs, but how wrong she is.

A modern adaption of August Strindberg’s ground-breaking play, Miss Julie, Smoke is a sharp and provocative piece that is making its London Premiere at The Southwark Playhouse from 1st - 25th February 2023, and in this episode, we are joined by the Co-Directors of the play, Polina Kalinina and Júlia Levai.
 
Hosted by Sam Pout, there are some really thought-provoking topics on today's show which involves topics such as on-stage intimacy, with real life married couple Oli Higginson and Meaghan Martin taking on the roles of newly-met Julie and John in the production.

Heading to The Vault Festival from 7th - 12th February 2023, All By Myself tells the story of a D-I-Y Influencer at the end of the world, with a show that is being described as 'Bo Burnham’s Inside meets Zoella' in this movement-led solo show featuring onstage video editing.
