In this episode, Jonny talks about his inspirations behind his writing, how a few weeks of no internet turned his attention to writing, plus a sweet anecdote regarding their Stagey Place.

Propelled by three years of interviews with anonymous contributors and their own lived experience, actors and activists Marta and Davinia interrogate Malta’s restrictions on the freedom of women.

This week on The Stagey Place, Eliott is joined by Robert Boulton, the Writer, and one of the Performers, behind Snowflakes, which is returning to London, this time at The Park Theatre, following a previous run at The Old Red Lion Theatre in October 2021, where we interviewed the Set and Costume Designer, Alys Whitehead, plus the Assistant Director, Oliver Graham.
Robert sits down to chat about what life for Snowflakes has been like since it's last run, how the script has become tighter for this latest run, plus the relevancy of the production in today's world!

Now roots are cracking up through the pavement and branches are coming in at the windows, and – as she starts to see things that no one else can - she becomes the focus of some seriously unwanted attention.

Currently playing a UK Tour after premiering at The Vault Festival 2020, When We Died follows a woman working as an embalmer who is faced with the body of the man who raped her almost a year earlier.
The play follows her decision to confront her trauma and tell her story on her own terms, and on this week's episode of The Stagey Place, we are delighted to be joined by the Writer and Performer of the show, Alexandra Donnachie, who joins Eliott to chat about how the show has developed since it's premiere in 2020, and how she feels taking the show on the road.
