Joining guest host Sam Pout in the Stagey Studio this week is Performer & Singer Songwriter Maimuna Memon, who brings their Edinburgh Fringe 2022 show, Manic Street Creature, which was awarded a Fringe First at the festival, now to The Southwark Playhouse Borough, from 19th October - 11th November 2023!
In this episode, Maimuna talks candidly about juggling the role of Producer, Creator, and Performer in the piece when the show was up in Edinburgh, what audiences can expect from this updated production, over a year since it last was last performed, the importance of striving for the thing you are most passionate about, and as always on the podcast, we pose the question, 'Where is Your Stagey Place?'.

After being nominated for 'Best Show of The Week' at this year's Vault Festival, alongside an OffFest nomination, and being award 'Best Sound Design' in this year's 'Stagey Place X Ed Fringe' awards, Nic Lawton and Ez Holland, who make up 'Expial Atrocious', join Eliott in the Stagey Studio this week to discuss their creepy horror production, Butchered, which is heading out on tour later this month to coincide with Halloween.
In this episode, Nic and Ez talk about the inspiration behind the show, how they very early on acted as each others characters, why games like 'Five Nights at Freddy's' and 'Little Nightmares' inspired their gruesome sound design, plus as usual on the podcast, we'll get to find out just where exactly Nic and Ez's Stagey Places are...
